Is Basil a meal kit?
No. Basil is an app. You shop at your own supermarket; Basil tells you what to buy, what to make and when.
When can I start using Basil?
We’re aiming for summer 2027. Until then you get a weekly update, and your year only starts on launch day.
How do I get my money back?
Fill in the short refund form (linked in every update and in the footer). You get the full amount back within 14 days. That works any time before launch, and up to 30 days after.
Do I have to count calories?
No. Basil does all the maths behind the scenes. You get amounts to weigh while cooking, that’s it.
Does Basil handle allergies?
Yes. You enter your allergies and intolerances at the start, and Basil sticks to them strictly. Always check the labels yourself, though.
Can I share Basil with my partner?
At launch, Basil plans for one person. Planning for a whole household, with different goals, comes later.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Basil starts as a web app that runs on any smartphone, no App Store download needed.
